The graduate social workers help patients in finding new alternatives and  developments after a disease, handicap or an accident.

In accordance with the patients and family members the social workers intervene at authorities with the aim to gain the needs and rights of the patients. Therefore, they have tasks such as submitting proposals and organisation.

The social workers are also closely linked to the mobile social and psychosocial services outside the hospital and this presents a good network for the individual problems of the patients. A very important task of the social counselling service during the course of the disease is also the consultation of the family members.
