Department for Geriatrics and Remobilisation |
The department for geriatrics and remobilisation (40 beds) has two different duties and responsibilities: on the one hand the stabilisation of chronically diseased, multimorbid patients, and on the other hand the extensive geriatric rehabilitation with the aim to reintegrate the patient as fast as possible into the established social environment. That is only possible with the help of the multidimensional staff (physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, ergotherapists and speech therapists, graduate social workers and psychologists) under the motto “Together we can help the patient gain back his or her quality of life”.
The Day Hospital
The day hospital (6 beds) with the main focus on rehabilitation offers further physiotherapeutic treatment to patients after strokes and orthopaedic or surgical operations after accidents with the aim: “Return to your home as quickly as possible and nevertheless be treated in an ideal way”.
