Training centre |
"KABEG regards the training and advancement of its employees as an important task and gives it the highest priority."
Prokurist Dr. Dieter Errath, Departmental management
The KABEG training centre was established on June 1, 1993 as part of the restructuring programme for the provincial hospitals.
As a result, it has been possible to concentrate in a special institution all cross-discipline, further and special training for staff working in the provincial hospitals and clinics − and also, to a limited extent, for staff from neighbouring Austrian provinces. The main task of the training centre is devising new courses, as well as the planning, organisation, implementation and evaluation of all current training work. Course planning is geared towards the professional tasks required, i.e. content matches the latest scientific, clinical and nursing findings. The teaching aims and training methods are designed to satisfy everyday professional requirements. Working in conjunction with the provincial hospitals and many other extra-mural healthcare bodies in Carinthia, we strive to keep not just the quality of professional care and provision, but also our healthcare management, at the very highest level.
To supplement this training, which covers all the hospitals and clinics in the partnership, the specialist further and advanced education requirements for each hospital are organised in the various hospitals to ensure that the staff there are familiar with the latest developments and findings in nursing care and medical science.
